Dodie MacArthur

Dodie MacArthur began her real estate career in Honolulu in 1972. She quickly rose from top sales agent and project manager for Honolulu developments to representing prominent estate and development properties on Oahu and then the Big Island of Hawaii. With her honed real estate skills and experience, Dodie founded MacArthur & Company in 1989, on the Big Island, with the objective of creating a unique boutique firm where the client’s needs come first. In its first year of operations the company gained recognition as a leading Big Island firm and continues to thrive as a market leader today. With her abundant energy, creative marketing and dynamic leadership skills, Dodie oversees business development and overall management at MacArthur & Company Sotheby’s International Realty. She works closely with her clients in the marketing and sale of their properties, her many years cultivating client and broker relationships ensures them unrivaled exposure. Along with her management staff and team of successful sales agents and brokers, Dodie is able to provide local, national and international clients with unparalleled customized service, fulfilling her promise that the client’s needs come first. Dodie served as  Chairman of the Board for the Parker School Trust, as part of her strong commitment to the community of Waimea.

Debi Au, Principal Broker

Debi’s affiliation with MacArthur and Company began in 1992 and she assumed the position of Broker in Charge for the Company in 2001. Her career has been interesting and challenging, exposing her to all aspects of the Real Estate profession. This invaluable knowledge and experience has given her the ability to solve many problems and overcome many obstacles for her clients and her agents alike. She has been an advisor and an example of a successful real estate professional, continuing to pursue education and additional designations within her profession. Her diligent approach and perseverance to find just the right property, combined with a fine attention to detail and understanding the total transaction have contributed to her success as an agent, with many repeat clients and referrals.
